2011 Easter Presentation

(Hana, Jasper)
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. He also created Man and Woman. God saw that all he had created was good and He loved the Man and Woman; God also loves us.

(Mark, Joseph)
Black: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) We are separated from God because of our sins. In the dark, we cannot find our way. Likewise, in the spiritual darkness, we are doomed. For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). We are guilty of sin and must pay.

(Sara, Juyoung)
Red: So God sent his one and only Son. Jesus came to this world and died on the cross for us. Red stands for the blood of Jesus which was shed for our salvation. While we were sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, except through me” (John 14:6)

(Emily, Andrew)
White: White stands for the cleansing of salvation. We must receive Christ as our Savior and Lord. We can receive Christ through faith, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8) Once we accept Christ, we become a new creation (II Corinthians 5:17). He washed away our sins and made us white as snow (Psalm 51:7; Isaiah 1:18).

(Sunny)
Yellow: When we receive Jesus, we become children of God. “To those who receive him, to those who believe in his name, he gave us the right to become children of God” (John 1:12) We now trust in Christ to come into our lives and be the center of our life. He is our Lord. As the children of God, we are prince and princess of the kingdom of God.

(Everyone)
Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! (Romans 7:25)
Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)
Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)

EKUC Sunday school members!

This is what you will be saying.
Read over the whole thing and read your part several times so you understand what you will be saying and when you will be saying.
Remember to wear your color on Sunday or at least have that color in your outfit somewhere noticeable.
Also, please listen to the song Oh Happy Day by Tim Hughes and learn the song because we will be singing this song right after you say "Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" at the end of the presentation.
You can follow this link and listen to it on youtube.
